Creative Writing
The Creative Writing Club is a chance for anyone interested in writing to meet with like-minded people and have fun.
We are interested in developing our skills by inspiring creativity, and focusing on character, plot and description. We have a laid back atmosphere: our activities range from exercises designed to create new ideas, to group readings where any new writing is given encouragement and advice from the rest of the group. The club is usually split into two groups of Senior (S4 – S6) and Junior (S1 – S3) pupils.
Often, the Senior Group will also be involved in mentoring and running workshops with the Junior Group. If you are already a passionate writer who wants to share your work, or just someone who would like to try and improve your imagination and writing skills, come along! Whether it’s fiction, poetry, drama or film scripts that you dream of creating, you will find your niche in our group.
