Newlands Nursery & Kindergarten

Newlands Nursery & Kindergarten is located in the leafy suburb of Newlands in the south side of Glasgow. Our facility has a fantastic outdoor space and provides a stimulating environment for your little one both indoors and out.

Nestled within an expansive safe and secure green space, we provide perfect outdoor learning environment for children to explore the natural world around them. Pupil learning experiences include Forest School activities, tending to the fruit and vegetable patch, loose parts play and mini-beast and bird identification.  We also have lots of opportunities for energetic play, outdoor yoga, and sports-based activities.

Being part of the The Glasgow Academy Newlands School community provides a seamless transition from Kindergarten to Prep 1 as well as opportunities to take part in paired reading activities with the older school children.  We also have  specialist teachers who provide French, Music and P.E.

We are open from 7.30am – 6pm with an option to attend term time or all year round.  Our on-site chef provides a variety of freshly prepared healthy snacks and lunches each day.
