Kelvinbridge Nursery & Kindergarten

A warm welcome to Kelvinbridge Nursery & Kindergarten - a unique, nurturing environment for children aged 3-4 years.

We make the most of our location in the heart of the West End, using every opportunity to take learning outdoors and into the wider community. Our children have regular opportunities to visit many fascinating local attractions, including Kelvingrove Art Galleries, the Botanic Gardens and Kelvingrove Park.

We enjoy learning through active play experiences, tailoring activities to meet the children's interests and needs. All of our wonderful learning experiences are detailed in each child's unique personal learning story which is accessible to parents at all times.

Our Nursery and Kindergarten is run by an experienced Academy teacher and a team of highly-trained Early Years professionals who provide a warm, happy atmosphere for the children to learn. We have a wealth of experience in providing top quality learning for the children in a safe, nurturing and secure environment. The children will experience inspiring and varied learning opportunities during their day, such as active play through water, sand and construction toys, painting, drawing, and writing, baking and gardening. Each day, the children develop their independence by helping to prepare their own healthy snack.

Our children can enjoy a delicious and nutritious lunch, if they wish, which is included in the fees. We also provide wrap around care from 8am - 8:30am and from 4pm - 6pm.

Nursery & Kindergarten are an important part of our whole school community. Our children receive weekly Music and PE lessons from specialist teachers and participate in regular Early Years assemblies, where children receive Golden Award certificates to celebrate achievement.

The team works closely with our other school sites and the service is in partnership with Glasgow City Council, meaning that funded places are available.

Do come and see us: the children love visitors!
