Keeping your child safe online
At The Glasgow Academy we believe that a strong partnership between school and home is the best way to help support pupils' digital awareness and manage the undoubted challenges digital technology creates in their lives as well as embracing the rich learning and opportunities it offers.
The links below offer resources you can use to support your child at home.
Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) helps to keep children and young people safe online.
If your child has been abused CEOP may have to share your report with other child protection professionals so that they can work together to ensure that you and your child are given the best support.
If you make a report to CEOP, it will be read by one of their Child Protection Advisers, who will make contact with you.
If you feel you are not ready to make a report but would like to speak to someone in confidence you can call Childline on 0800 1111.
