The Glasgow Academy's Maths in Motion team has successfully made it through to the 2018 International Final.
This is the fourth year running that the team has reached the finals of this competition in which hundreds of schools from around the world take part.
Only 12 senior schools reached the final and our pupils' hard work all year round and consistent practice ensured their success.
Team members use various maths skills learned in class and make key decisions to improve the car's performance before the race itself. They really are mini-engineers!
Members who have contributed to this success are:
S3: Sambhav Chadha, Finlay Brown, Alan Shen, Jack Murphy, Zamo Jamal and James Olney
S1: Lewis Ng, Johnny Miller , Ben Thomson, Christian McKay, Kevin Chen, Guy Bell, Luke Mackenzie and Umar Moughal
Congratulations to all!
