The Glasgow Academy was proud to host the world’s first WildHearts Global Entrepreneurial Leaders Junior Summit on Tuesday 11 June.
Over 400 primary school pupils from schools across Scotland were joined by students from South Africa, India, Switzerland and Afghanistan.
They came together to learn how business can be a force for good and how young people can use their entrepreneurial skills to make a difference, locally and globally.
Students enjoyed inspiring speeches from leading social entrepreneurs from the UK to Silicon Valley and even watched a special welcome video delivered by Cheryl Kiser from Babson College, the world’s top school for entrepreneurship.
The event was organised by WildHearts, a world-leading social business in partnership with The Academy. WildHearts Global Youth Ambassadors from S5 and S6 did a fantastic job inspiring the younger pupils with interactive workshops and helped ensure the day was a huge success.
