The Glasgow Academy, Atholl

The Glasgow Academy Atholl is a purpose-built school in the north-west of the city, providing education for the 3-8 age group and feeding into the Kevinbridge site in P5. As well as having all the advantages of being part of a larger establishment, Atholl is unique in its own right.

When you visit Milngavie, where the school is located, you will instantly feel that although close to the city, you are very much in the country. In fact, Atholl school sits on the edge of Barloch Moor which the pupils often use for outdoor activities and walks to the local church.

Here at Atholl, pupils acquire a love of learning and high levels of personal development and academic achievement. Our curriculum, which is fully aligned with that of the Kelvinbridge site, is motivating, challenging and lots of fun! There is a strong family ethos and every visitor quickly feels part of our school community which values each person within it, including pupils, parents and all the staff.
