The Glasgow Academy Parent Teacher Association developed from The Glasgow Academy Parents' Association in 2006 and is a partnership between parents and teachers to supprt all the school community. Most year groups are represented by the parents on the Committee together with teachers from the Prep and Senior schools, including the Rector and Head of Prep School, and a representative from the Board of Governors.
Meetings are held approximately four times during the school year and all parents are welcome to attend. If you would like to attend or if there are any issues that you wish to put before the committee, please contact Sandie Watt, Chairperson, at least 10 days prior to a meeting.
Aims
To encourage communication within the school community, arrange social events and raise funds for The Glasgow Academy and school charities.
