The Glasgow Academy Dairsie PTA They help at school functions like our Open Day and Grandparents' Day. They serve mince pies and coffee at the church before the Christmas Service. They raise funds for the school through raffles and their big event The Spring Fair. These funds are used for the benefit of the children. They fund the whole school Pantomime visit and Christmas presents for the children, organise the children's discos and ceilidhs and last but not least they support the Shelter Family Unit by organising the collection of Christmas presents for that worthy cause.We as a school are very grateful for all their support. Dairsie has a strong and active Parents' Association who are very committed to the school. They meet regularly to discuss and organise various events.
