The Glasgow Academy, Milngavie is a purpose-built school in the north-west of the city, providing education for the 3-8 age group and feeding into the Kelvinbridge site in P5. As well as having all the advantages of being part of a larger establishment, the school is unique in its own right.

When you visit Milngavie, where the school is located, you will instantly feel that although close to the city, you are very much in the country. In fact, the school sits on the edge of Barloch Moor which the pupils often use for outdoor activities and walks to the local church.
