Free places and help with fees: bursaries and scholarships

Through the generosity of its former pupils, The Academy is able to offer free places and help with fees to girls and boys from P7 to S6, on a level according to income.

Help with fees (10-100%) may be awarded at entry to P7 and to all years in the Senior School, as well as to existing pupils in P7 and in the Senior School as need arises.

Families applying for help with fees will be asked to supply information about their financial circumstances. By way of guidance, we are unlikely to be able to help parents whose combined income currently exceeds £50,000 if one child is to be educated or £60,000 if two children require financial assistance.

Up to six competitive scholarships are available, generally worth 5-15% of fees. These scholarships are awarded on the basis of performance in the S1 entrance examination.
