We encourage pupils to join the many clubs which meet at lunchtime or after school and cater for a huge range of tastes and interests. There are sporting clubs such as soccer, rowing, netball, and basketball and others such as chemistry, chess, creative writing, debating, drama, electronics, engineering, rock and Scripture Union.
The Gavel Club provides senior pupils with the opportunity to develop their public speaking abilities in a friendly but competitive environment. The Debating Society provides a forum for pupils to learn the rewarding art of debating. Teams from these clubs have been extremely successful in national competition.
A popular option with Sixth Year pupils is the Young Enterprise scheme. With the sponsorship of local firms, the pupils run their own company selecting, producing and marketing products under conditions simulating normal business.
